In the end of June 2013 Gim Lee was running the streets of Minneapolis, MN. A couple was able to catch him and tried looking for his family. They brought him to the vets to see if he was micro-chipped, no luck. Then they decided to check into the grooming salon of where I (his future dad) was working to see if we recognized him. Knowing that this couple had a couple dogs of their own I offered to foster him until we could find his family. After weeks with no response, Gim Lee found his forever future home.
At the time I was not ready for the medical expenses it would take to care for this new family member, so I reached out to Caring for Critters ( that was just a work in progress at the time) thru Jodi Laliberte ( creator of Caring for Critters). Jodi provided financial aid to help get his first set of shots, neutering, and blood work done.
If it wasn’t for Caring for Critters it would have been almost impossible for me to help get Gim Lee the starting care he needed. Now years later he is happy, healthy, and loved.
